The world’s no. 1 educational and research institute is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It was established on April 10, 1861. 2- Stanford University

Stanford University is also one of the oldest universities in the US. Stanford city was established in 1885 in the name of the only child of US Senator, Leland Stanford.
